Sword

                        Survived the sword

                        of death and despair

                        surrendered to living word

                        two-edged sword piercing

                        soul from spirit

                        judging heart

                        shaped now by grace

                        freed from sin’s decay

                        sanctified by promise

                        hope replaces wilderness

                        Spirit of Life restores.
