Come: Grace in the Wilderness: Prayers and Poetry

                       Come

                        With weeping

                        they shall come

                        whether in grief or

                        thankfulness

                        walking by streams

                        threading towards life

                        waters guided by prayers

                        together

                        without stumbling

                        towards an inheritance

                        wrapped in wonder.

If accept the gift.

If accept His forgiveness.

If walk in trust.

Romans 8:9, “However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.”

            Crowds eager to follow

            name dropping headlines

            catch a glimpse of show

            nice reviews

            stumble into power

            wonder beyond expectation

            signs of Messiah come

            whisper questions at edges

            choice to be made

            nervously pretend ignorance than

            connect—commit in public

            need to blend instead.

            Still cannot deny truth.

            Word remains, speaking ‘Come’.
