                        Like squalling over tired

                        infants we resist authority

                        provision, instead lash out at

                        loving arms’ firm boundaries.

                        Condemnation on sin

                        non-negotiable, battle won

                        still searches for those missing.

                        Cared for by intercession.

                        We see only through penalty.

                        He sees only through love.
