Tabernacle

Garments

Consecrated vestments

made by gifted hands

ordained for holy service.

Priests fully covered

protected from naked

guilt, death,

during mediation

of repeated confessions.

Chosen vulnerability

stripped of glory

wore humanity’s shame.

Carried our nakedness

in His holiness

guilt, death,

cancelled on cross

High Priest’s clothing.

Hebrews 9: 24, “For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made by human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but he entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.”
