Temple Pillar


Pillar recognized

stands, upholds

purpose.


Steadfast marks

conquered territory.

Stays firm

clear witness.


Revelation 3:12, “If you conquer, I will make you a pillar in the temple of my God; you will never go out of it.”

Aaron priests.


Anointed Messiah

sanctioned by holy dove

poured out Spirit

sanctified message

beloved Son.


Anoints followers

set apart by call

perpetuates mission

Spirit soaked words

disciples.


John 1:32, “I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.”

Five Levitical offerings

precise details

marked each

ritual of sacrifice.


No errors

no excuses

or restoration

null—void.


One fragrant offering

Christ’s love

took our sin

one gift sacrifice.


His substitution

His redemption

reconciliation

freed.


Ephesians 5: 2, “… and gave Himself up for us, as an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.”

to the Lord’s bounty

first fruits of each harvest.


Confession of praise

to His heritage

ongoing sacrifice

church body, broken bread

shared in remembrance.


1 Corinthians 10:16, “...Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?”

Tabernacle

Bread


Fed, nourished

sustained, strengthened

grew from young to old with

bread from God’s

storehouse.


Forty years of manna ended,

one omer left as a reminder

of daily provision

from God’s hands.


Father’s Son comes

brings new bread

living nourishment,

end to hunger, thirst

forever offered.


His body broken

given to sustain

life daily in

His presence.


Exodus 25: 30, “And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.”

Linen


fine linen

bright

white, pure

woven of’

righteous deeds.

Worn too by angels,

heaven’s armies

following the rider

Faithful and True.

bride

washed

redeemed

wedlock clothed

by grace

gifted.


Revelation 19:8, “to her it has been granted to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.”
